Yes, I’m fine without new books (for right now). As the holidays approach, I am finding myself more and more busy with life, teaching, and my editing apprenticeship…so there’s not a ton of time for reading, mainly because I usually fall asleep as soon as I start reading every night.
Do I really want to do this? I’m struggling with this idea of not buying any new books until the new year.
Well, here we are. The final day. Today, I am wearing the costume of a book-lover with exceptional restraint, because tomorrow, I am allowed to buy more books. But will I? I already have too many and not enough time in which to read them!
Here we are! The last TBR shelf I have! I can’t believe it. I mean, I really can’t believe I have so many books to read. However, to be fair, apparently this collection of books I have yet to read demonstrates that I have a condition called “tsundoku.”
